Flood Investigation Report. Weaver Boos Consultants presented their report of the investigation of the flooding of the Town playground, rear tennis courts and soccer field to the Town Council on August 15, 2009, together with alternative recommendations. Although this report is marked "draft," it was accepted by the Town Council as the final report. A committee has been formed, chaired by John Sullivan, to make recommendations to the Town Council for actions to be taken. (NOTE: This is a large PDF file, and it may take some time to download.)

Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore News Releases. Keep up to date with news releases from our Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore neighbor through their archive of news releases. Some of their announcements have a direct effect on the residents of Dune Acres.

Disaster Preparedness. Natural disasters are a fact of life. Each area of the country has its own challenges.
