Parking
Dune Acres has narrow roads, no sidewalks, and relatively few parking areas due to its topography and sensitive natural areas. In order to preserve the natural environment and residential character of the community, the town limits parking on its roads, easements, and parking lots to vehicles possessing either a Resident Parking Permit or authorized Guest Pass. All other vehicles are subject to ticketing or removal.
These instructions apply to any “vehicle,” which is defined to include automobiles, trucks, motorcycles, mopeds, scooters, golf carts, all-terrain vehicles (ATVs), tractors, and detached trailers. All golf carts used on Dune Acres roads must be registered using this application, regardless of whether they will be parked in town-owned lots.
